Crackerbarrel Discussion Group

The Crackerbarrel Discussion Group is UCE’s long-running Sunday morning discussion forum. Group members suggest topics and a schedule is set up approximately a month in advance.  Topics and approaches to their exploration are as varied as the interests and backgrounds of those who attend. The Group’s purpose is stated in the fourth UU Principle in which “we affirm and promote a free and responsible search for truth and meaning.” It is also reflected in our UCE covenant to “seek the truth in love.”  In our Crackerbarrel sessions, therefore, opinions are freely expressed, but civility is emphasized.
