Current & Upcoming Adult Programs

Participants will explore some of the faiths in the Evanston area with the hope to begin forming Beloved Community with our neighbors of faith.

We will gather three times monthly, except for December, with each month focused on a different faith. Our first week will be with a guest speaker from that month’s faith. Our second week will be visiting that house of worship. Our third week will be gathering at UCE for reflection and further conversation on ways to deepen our learnings and connections with their community.

Our schedule will be the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays at UCE, and the 2nd week will vary depending on the faith community we are visiting. The faiths we will be exploring are:

October – Introduction to the program – on Zoom only

November – Judaism

January – Buddhism

February – Baha’i

March – Episcopal

April – Islam

May – African Methodist Episcopal (AME)
